The Family Behind the Harvest

Three generations on one stretch of valley ground, keeping a simple pledge: patient growing, straight dealing and deep respect for living soil.

Our Story

Sixty Years on the Same Ground

We started in 1962 with 40 acres and a small dairy herd. Today the farm spans 480 certified-organic acres of vegetables, heritage grains and orchard fruit, feeding farm shops, kitchens and overseas partners in three countries.

  • Organically certified since 2004, passing every annual audit with a clean record.
  • 42 year-round growers plus seasonal pickers, every one earning above the living wage.
  • On-site packhouse graded for export, tracking each carton back to its seed batch.

How We Work

How a Season Unfolds Here

STEP 01

Groundwork First

Autumn tests shape the winter plan: compost dressings, cover mixes and rotations per block.

STEP 02

Timely Sowing

Audited seed and nursery plants go in at the right moment and spacing, drip lines laid.

STEP 03

Kept Watch

Our scouts circle each block weekly while probes and traps flag trouble early.

STEP 04

Dawn Picking

Gathered at first light, chilled within the hour, cartons stamped with their field of origin.

Walk the Rows with Us

Guided tours leave the barn shop on the first Saturday of each month, April to October. Taste what's ripe and meet the people who grew it.
